The Haldi Festival in Pattan Kadoli near Kolhapur is celebrated by the Dhangar community in honor of Vittal Birdev Maharaj. As devotees spread Bhandara (, the entire village turns yellow, the powder seen as sacred and believed to hold healing powers.

Each year, Sri Keloba Rajabau Waghmode, a revered baba, arrives after a long pilgrimage. Covered in turmeric, he performs the Hedam Nrutya, a ritual dance at the temple, accompanied by drums and chants.

Following the dance, the baba delivers the Bhaknuk—a prophecy that foretells rainfall, harvests, and the fortune of the village in the coming year.
